Flexibility is not something that comes overnight. Being a dancer you will know that :) What is important here is to remember that you can always get back to the way you were with a little bit of practice daily. Few tips: 1 ) Start your day with a set of fixed reasonably easy exercises. They could be breathing exercises and stretches to give your body the prep required for attempting complex stretches and warm ups. You must do these for at least a week before starting out on the actual plan. 2) Sketch out your actual plan carefully by increasing the level on a weekly basis. This way you do not put yourself in a situation where you might risk injury. Your plan could include yoga or contemporary stretches or gymnast stretches. You can include all that you know and have tried earlier. 3) Eat right. The most important thing is to drink enough fluids and eat a balanced diet in order to see the change in your body.
